ENGR-E 537 RAPID PROTOTYPING FOR ENGINEERS (3 CR.)
Protoyping - materialization of concepts - is essential for design and engineering of a product. The course overviews the modern computer aided design (CAD) - computer aided manufacturing (CAM) approach to prototyping. Students will perform a case study practicum, characterizing performance envelope of fused deposition modeling (FDM) 3D printer.
